Really scared. Please help me?

Well, I went to the doctors today and found I had a large cyst right above my crack. Doctors said they were going to have to drain. Basically the cyst was cut open and squeeze out the pus. My appointment is 5 hours, but I'm really scared. Has this happened to you? If you have medical experience, do you hurt?

Solution:

My guess is that the cyst is painful now, right? I have also had them, usually in the area where the leg meets the pelvis. If the cyst does not empty it will become an abscess, which is downright horrible when it comes to pain. They will use local anesthesia in you, I'm sure. And the process does not take much time for anything (maybe 15 minutes and most of which is the drainage of fluid that you do not feel at all). Once you get the anethesia, you do not feel anything. In fact, even after it disappears (the anethesia) you will feel much better than before I had done because the pressure and swelling is gone. How and when you have a toothache and needs to be pulled, the pain is gone the second is out. Good luck, but it sa very simple procedure! You'll be fine. I had a cyst removed from my ovary that was 10 pounds when he was 19 years old! That's a scenerio you will not, ended up cutting all through my stomach muscle and all. So please, do not worry about something that is in all reality, is no worse than thatwart removal:) going to be over before you know it!
