I have cystic acne and have had it since I was 15 … in May. Umm, I'm going to the dermo Friday, but I was wondering what I should expect & & if anyone knows anything I can do to help her down. Its really very bad. I have it mostly on my chin and over my face and forehead. I have also bacne (back acne) and do not know what can help it. Ugh, I just want to be normal and wear sleeveless shirts. It's hard to walk in public because I know people can see and look at some.

What the dermatologist did for me was to prescribe an oral antibiotic at first to get rid of the swelling current and two types of cream – an antibiotic and a retinoid cream (which I think helps reduce fading and healing after inflammatio ) n. I have cystic acne on the chin.
